Development Team

The Dharavi Development Team comprises of 22 children from the Dharavi Community Programme, who intend to take up football professionally. The children are trained by our SUFC Coaches regularly. The aim is to get the team to play professional matches and take part in Tournaments, where they can hone their skills.
The development team has taken part in a host of other private tournaments, including the MDFA ‘C’ Division qualifiers, where they nearly got through into the Division, missing out on penalties. These children get a new lease of life as these matches help give them valuable exposure and lay the foundation for them to grow into better citizens of the community through hard work, discipline, and dedication.
